Australian HC condoles death of school students in Mirsarai

DHAKA, July 13 (BSS) - The Australian High Commission here today condoled the death of school students in the tragic road accident at Abu Torab Borotakia in Mirsarai upazila of Chittagong on 11 July.

In a condolence message Charg, d'affaires of the Australian High Commission Tim Bolotnikoff said, "The Australian High Commission extends its deepest condolences to the people of Bangladesh, following the loss of 44 lives in a horrific road accident in Chittagong Division on 11 July."

He said the loss of just one promising young life is devastating, but the scale of this tragedy will deeply affect hundreds of parents, relatives and friends.

"Our thoughts are now with the victims and their families," He said.
