DHAKA, July 13 (BSS)- Nimman Jahan Nimmi, 23, a student of a
private university was killed last night in a road accident at Dayaganj in the city.

The accident occurred when a covered van struck Nimmi and her mother who were waiting for transport at Dayaganj crossing Tuesday night.

They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with serious injuries where Nimmi, a final year student of BBA of Darul Ehsan University, died.

Her mother was later shifted to Dhaka Pangu hospital in a critical condition.

SI Kawser Ali of Gandaria thana said the killer covered van (Chatta-Metro-GA-11-1946) was seized and both the driver and helper were arrested.

A case was registered with Ganadaria thana in this connection.
