U IBA launched weekend MBA programme

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, July 13(BSS) - The Institute of Business Administration, Jahangirnagar University (IBA-JU) has launched weekend Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programme.

Director of IBA-JU Dr Baktiar Rana told BSS that the sixty- credit hours programme will begin from the first week of September. The admission form distribution will begin July 17 and the test will be on August 19 and 20.

The programme is offering major in wide range of areas such as Banking and Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Accounting and Information System, Management Information System, Quantitative Business Analysis, Development Management and International Business, the director added.

The programme is open to all with a graduation from any recognized institution.

The students would be allowed to complete the course within 2 to 6 years. The sources said that the course will be held by 3 semesters in a year called trimester system and the classes would be held only on Friday and Saturday.
